Växjö distansryttarsällskap want to thank you and your team for your application and whish you and your team welcome to our endurance competition
Competition area: Will be placed atVäxjöortens Fältrittklubb (VFK) in “Bergunda” All classes will have there vetgate and finish at this place. Class 3-6 will also have their start here whiles class 1 and 2 will have their start in “Ingelstad” at the Naturbruksgymnasie.
Directions, to the competition area, if you are coming from the south on road 23 towards Växjö take right towards Bergunda about 7km before you come to Växjö. After about 1km you will have the competition area on your left had side, it is located on a riding school.
if you are coming from the north on road 23 towards Växjö take left towards Bergunda about 7km after you have passed Växjö. After about 1km you will have the competition area on your left had side, it is located on a riding school.
To Ingelstad, drive to Växjö and from there take road 30 towards “Tingsryd” drive some 20 km to Ingelstad and once you reach Ingelstad take right on the road with the sign the “Ingelinge Hög” and the church, drive for about 1km and then you turn left with “Ingelstad Naturbruksgymnasie”. Drive straight ahead and turn right in the end of the road. The stable will be on your left side. There will be a sign pointing you in the right direction.
Pre-inspection
Class I&II in Ingelstad the day before the competition
Class III in Bergunda the day before the competition
Class IV-VI in Bergunda at the day for the competition
Those of you that have your horses staying overnight in Bergunda and are not competing in Class 3 may have your horse pre.inspected the day before competition if there is time left after the horses in class 3 have been pre-inspected.
We encourage all of you to be on time for the pre-inspection since it is a tight time schedule and many horses has been entered into the competition. We would like to point out that it is mandatory for someone in the team to go to the route review. The review will take place about 45 min before the starting time of each class except for class 1-3 that have their route review the day before the competition.
Pulse limitation is 64 beats per minute in class I-IV and in class V-VII is it 60 beats per minute.
After finishing the race all horses must be through their final inspection within 20 minutes except for the horses in class 1and 2 that needs to do this within 30 minutes. All the pauses in the competition are 30-40 minutes long.
You need to present the following papers that are applicable for your class: certificate of vaccine, licences, FEI-passport, the Swedish national book of competitions and green card.
There will be a deposit of 100SEK for the horses that stay over night in Bergunda, it will be returned once the stable has been cleared out.
There will be access to water on the competition area; there will also be a cafeteria and a black smith available. If you need to use the blacksmith or get hold of the paramedics please contact the competitor’s office
